Creature Comforts Animal Inn is Connecticut's premier dog and cat boarding establishment. Our lodging suites are clean, spacious, and in a home-like atmosphere. We pride ourselves on giving each of our guests lots of TLC while closely monitoring all their behaviors. During our most in-demand boarding timeframes, a $5/night Peak Season Pricing charge will be added to all boarding reservations. Peak season dates include any major local school breaks and May 24th – Sept 9th, November 22nd – December 1st, & December 15th – January 3rd.
We charge a late check-out fee for all dog boarding guests who are picked up after 12 pm, equal to an additional day of boarding. Your pup will still get to enjoy our fun facility while they wait to be picked up!

All our dogs have large, spacious indoor/outdoor runs and spend their days playing and exercising in one of our six giant play yards.
Our cat condos are 4½’ x 6½’ x 6½’, and each has their own skylights, furniture, and cozy hideouts in a dog-free section of our facility.
We will gladly administer all topical and oral medications to your pet at no additional charge. Please make sure medications are labeled with your pet's name and dosing instructions. Medications should be in their original packaging.
Located on sprawling grounds in North Stonington, CT, we are convenient to Westerly, Mystic, Stonington, Ashaway, Groton, New London, and Norwich. We are open 7 days a week and we encourage you to visit us to take a tour of our beautiful facility. Our kennel is equipped with a fire alarm system that is monitored 24 hours a day for your pet's safety. We disinfect every run every day with a high-power cleaning system from Cascade Companies that helps keep our kennel sanitary and smelling good.
Dogs: Please upload or bring Rabies and Town License Certificates and proof of Distemper and Bordetella (kennel cough).
Cats: Please upload or bring Rabies Certificates and proof of Feline Distemper.
1. All pets will be evaluated for behavior in their kennel, their social interactions with fellow pets, and their engagement with our staff throughout their first day with us.
2. Dogs are required to have the following vaccines: Bordetella, Rabies & Distemper (DHPP)
3. Vaccines must be administered at least 7 days prior to boarding
4. Vaccines must be administered by a licensed veterinarian
5. Everything provided must be able to fit in a standard washer and dryer (no large comforters, etc.)
6. We are happy to administer oral or topical medications or supplements to your pets! Medication must be in the original prescribed container with the prescription label adhered.
7. Please bring enough food for the duration of your pet's boarding stay. You must provide individual prepackaged containers or Ziplock bags with your pet’s name and food measured by meal or a meal packaging fee of $3 per day (max of $15 per boarding stay) will be applied to your pet’s invoice. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original container, but must be labeled with your pet's name.
8. Policy: All dogs must be current on agreements, vaccines, and be controlled (on leash, in kennel, etc.)
